Clean welds for clean surfaces.
Stainless welding and fabrication for restaurants, breweries, food plants, railings and architectural work, with filler, shielding and finishing chosen to protect corrosion resistance.
- Process: TIG or MIG with proper gas
- Filler: Matched to the grade
- Finish: Polish, brush or passivate

What it is, and why it matters.
Stainless steel resists rust only if it is welded and cleaned correctly. Overheating, the wrong filler, contamination from carbon steel tools or poor shielding can leave welds that stain or corrode. Good stainless work controls heat and keeps the metal clean.
We weld stainless with TIG or MIG, using appropriate filler for the grade, backing gas where needed and clean tools. Finishes can be left natural, ground and polished or passivated, depending on the application and how food-safe or decorative it must be.

Stainless Steel Welding: common questions
Why does stainless rust sometimes?
Contamination from carbon steel, overheating during welding and poor cleaning can break down the protective layer. Proper technique and cleaning keep stainless corrosion resistant.
Is stainless food safe after welding?
Properly welded, cleaned and finished stainless is widely used in food service. Sanitary applications may need smooth welds and specific finishes, and we plan for them.
