We plan rise and run, tread type and rail heights with common guidance in mind, check what the stairs will bolt or weld to, and can include non-slip tread options. Existing stairs can be repaired, extended or reinforced.

Can steel stairs be galvanized?
Yes, many steel stairs are hot-dip galvanized for outdoor use. It adds lead time and size limits, so we plan fabrication around it. Paint systems are another common option.
Do steel stairs need a permit?
Stairs attached to buildings often do. Requirements vary, so we recommend checking with your local building department, and we can provide drawings if needed.
