The weld studio.
Choose a process, a joint and the steel thickness, set the amps and the travel speed and strike the arc. Watch the sparks, the glowing puddle and the heat-tint colors as the bead cools, and see whether you ran it too cold, too hot or just right.

Pick a process and joint. Too cold and the bead sits on top. Too hot and it burns through.
Five things that make a good weld.
Heat balance
Amps and travel speed together set heat input. Too little and the weld sits on top, too much and it burns through.
Fusion at the edges
A good bead melts into both pieces so no line of unmelted metal is left.
Clean metal
Rust, paint and oil cause porosity and weak welds. Prep first, weld second.
The right process
Wind, thickness and metal decide between MIG, TIG, stick and flux-core.
Cooling matters
Fast cooling can crack some steels. Heat-tint colors show how hot the metal was.

What can a mobile welder repair on site?
Most gates, railings, fences, trailers, truck beds, farm equipment, heavy equipment buckets and arms, structural connections and many machinery repairs. If a job is better done in a shop, such as precise fabrication or large painted assemblies, we say so and fabricate it there.
Can you weld aluminum and stainless steel?
Yes. Both need different prep, filler and technique from steel. We bring TIG and spool-gun MIG for aluminum and the right filler and shielding for stainless, and we identify the alloy before welding so we do not promise a repair that will not hold.
Can you work outdoors in wind or rain?
Wind is a bigger problem than most people expect because it blows away shielding gas, so outdoors we often use stick or self-shielded flux-core. We work under cover when we can and reschedule for heavy rain or lightning.
